மாதா காட்சி கொடுத்த திருத்தலம்
06.08.1993-ல் தூத்துக்குடி மறைமாவட்ட ஆயர் S.T. அமல்ராசர் அவர்களால் அர்ச்சிக்கப்பட்டு திருத்தலமாக பிரகடனப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. மாதத்தின் முதல் சனிக்கிழமைதோறும் மாதாவின் நவநாள் மற்றும் திவ்விய நற்கருணை ஆராதனையும் நடைபெறுகிறது. இக்கதை நுட்பங்களைக் கொண்டது. இந்தத் திருத்தலம் சுமார் 150 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் பூசிய வண்ணங்களும், டீடத்தில் பூசப்பட்ட பொன் முலாம்களும் இன்று வரை அழியாது மங்காது இருப்பது அதிசயத்திலும் அதிசயம். அந்த அதிசயத்தில் இக்கோவில் இக்கதை நுட்பங்களைக் கொண்டது.
ஆண்டுதோறும் அக்டோபர் 22-ம் நாள் 9-ம் திருவிழாவாக வெகு சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடி மாதவ 6.30 மணிக்கு சிறப்பு ஆராதனை நடைபெற்று மறுநாள் 23ஆ.ம் தேதி காட்சி கொடுத்துள்ள மாதா அமைப்பகள். அவரே, வடவையிலே மிளிர்ந்து வருகிறது.
ஆண்டாண்டு காலமாய் பரிசுத்த பதுமை மாதாவின் காட்சி மாதம் ஆலயத்தில் சிலுவைக்கோவிலை முழுமைப்படுத்தி புனித தேவசகாயம். புனித அருளானந்த சுருபங்களை அமைத்து அன்னையின் முதல் சனி பக்தி முயற்சியை அந்தே நடத்தி, வழிபடாமை செய்தனர்.

"The Sacred Shrine where Our Lady Appeared (gave her vision)"
"On 06.08.1993, it was consecrated by the Bishop of the Tuticorin (Thoothukudi) Diocese, Most Rev. S.T. Amalraj, and proclaimed a [recognized] sacred shrine (thiruthalam). On the first Saturday of every month the Novena to Our Lady and the Adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist are held. This [shrine] holds these intricacies. That the colours painted about 150 years ago and the gold-gilding applied to the [features] remain to this day un-fading and undimmed is a wonder among wonders; in that wonder this church holds these subtleties.
Every year, on the 22nd of October, the 9th [day of the] festival is celebrated with great splendour; at 6.30 [in the evening] a special Adoration is held, and the next day, on the 23rd, [is commemorated] Our Lady who gave her apparition. She [Our Lady] shines forth at Vadavai.
For years on end, for the holy [statue of] Pathumai Madha (Our Lady of the Vision), in [her] month, in the church, completing/perfecting the Calvary chapel (Siluvai-kovil), [the priests] set up the statues of St. Devasahayam and St. Arulanandar (Blessed Devasahayam Pillai and St. John de Britto), and conducted the devotion of Our Lady's First Saturday, and performed worship there."
